Reading Rockets offers a wealth of reading strategies, lessons, and activities designed to help young children learn how to read and read better. Our reading resources assist parents, teachers, and other educators in working with struggling readers who require additional help in reading fundamentals and comprehension skills development.

Driving Directions

WETA

Reading Rockets is located on the fourth floor of the WETA building at 2775 S. Quincy Street in Arlington, VA. Free parking is available in the garage adjacent to the WETA building.

From Northern Virginia

Take 395 North to the Shirlington exit (Exit 6). On the overpass, move immediately to the right lane and take the Shirlington Road/Arlington Mill Drive exit to the first traffic light. Turn left at the traffic light onto Arlington Mill Drive. Take the first left on South Quincy Street. WETA headquarters is on the left.

From Washington, D.C.

Take Memorial Bridge or 14th Street Bridge to 395 South. Continue to Shirlington/Glebe Road exit (Exit 7). Follow signs to Shirlington until you reach the first traffic light at Shirlington Road. Go straight onto Arlington Mill Drive. Take the first left on South Quincy Street. WETA headquarters is on the left.

From Maryland or Virginia via I-495 and George Washington Parkway

From I-495 take the George Washington Parkway exit toward Washington D.C.. After about ten miles, take the exit towards I-395. Follow the signs until you merge onto I-395 South. From I-395 South, take the Shirlington/Glebe Road exit (Exit 7). Follow signs to Shirlington until you reach the first traffic light at Shirlington Road. Go straight onto Arlington Mill Drive. Take the first left on South Quincy Street. WETA headquarters is on the left.
